Summary¶
In my last article, I talked about how my recovery from my crash was going. In this article, I talk about how I am getting back to work on my projects.
Introduction¶
Sometimes you just need to unplug to get back to work. That is what the last two weeks have been for me. With some success and some failures.
Where Am I Now?¶
As I mentioned in my last article, I decided that I needed to take time off to recover from my recent crash. There were a handful of things that I had been putting off around our house, and it was an opportune time to address them. The fact that they had nothing to do with computers was a bonus.
When it came down to it, I just needed to shut down for a while. I have been pushing hard on my projects for months without a real break, and I was feeling more of the disaster than the aster.1 On one hand, I knew that I needed to take a break to make sure that I could recover properly and deal with the anxiety that I have experience about my projects. On the other hand, I was just tired. In looking back on that fateful weekend, I wonder if I was so tired that I just pushed ahead “to get it done” without thinking of the ramifications.
Either way, I sincerely believe it was the right move for me. While the low energy that I am feeling right now is mostly due to relaxing and working around the house for the last two weeks, I can already feel it lifting bit-by-bit.
And with that, I am pretty much at the end of what I have to say for this article. Not much life related or project related that has changed in the last two weeks, so nothing much to write about. Next week? Now I am hoping to have more to write next week, so stay tuned!

Yes, I am a fan of the Young Justice cartoon, which is where I heard “aster” for the first time. ↩
